Description of Excel Interface of RSJ's Next Generation Label Printing System
LPSNG could directly use Microsoft Excel files (.XLS and .XLSX).
We support Excel files in different operation modes:
- Data file
- Lookup file
Data File
- The first row contains the field names
- Every row has data for a different label
- One column could contain a copy count
Lookup File
- The first row contains the field names
- Every row has data for a different key
- The user enters the key (and possibly other fields)
- Just one kind of label is printed
- One column (or the manual input) can contain a copy count
Lookup files can be used in "Device Mode"
