ESL Binding API

Electronic shelf labels need a connection between the ESL tag id (normally printed as barcode on the label) and the item.

LPSNG contains a web browser interface to establish the binding. But sometimes custom MDE (mobile data entry) units without web interface are used to establish the binding. The following web service interface can be used to establish the binding:

POST https://lpsng.rsj.de/createBinding

Parameters:

| Name | Description | | --- | --- | | tag | Value of barcode on label | | address | Address created in label description | | basestation | Basestation ID, optional |

This web service request requires OAuth2 authentication (HTTP header Authentication: Bearer xxxxxxx) to associate the tag with an user.

LPSNG will try to find a suitable basestation (of the user) when no basestation is identified in the request.
