While OAuth2 offers a great user experience for bringing new users to an existing application connection, initial connection between different applications requires the exchange of several parameters (URLs for login, token, exchange, client id, client secret, scopes).
LPSNG needs an application connection for every base station, so we have defined a simplified protocol for establishing this connection. Using this protocol the user only needs to enter a single URL to establish a new connection:
{
signonUrl: "https://xxxxx/signon",
authUrl: "https:/xxxx/auth",
registerUrl: "https:/xxxxxx/createApplication",
register_client_id: "Register",
register_client_secret: "Register,
registerScope: "Register",
labelScope: "Label",
labelUrl: "https://xxxxxxx/tag/"
}
POST /createApplication
| Name | Value | | --- | --- | | applicationName | Name of the the application register | | description | Description of application | | redirectUrl | Redirect URL (for signon) | | output | "json" |
{
client_id: "xxxxxxxxx",
client_secret: "xxxxxxxxxxxx"
}
